Ingredients (serves 4):

  • Pan de Cristal (Glass Bread), or any other rustic type bread
  • 1 Vine-Ripened Tomato (or any other variety that is soft and juicy)
  • 2 tbsp of Don Anecio Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Don Anecio Sea Salt or Don Anecio Fine Flake Salt to taste
  • 1 Dent of Fresh Garlic 

Preparation:

  1. Cut the bread in slices (not too thin) and toast it in the oven or a toaster.
  2. Cut the vine-ripened juicy tomato in half and grate into a bowl.
  3. Grate or finely chop the dent of fresh garlic into the bowl with the tomato.
  4. Add Don Anecio Extra Virgin Olive Oil and mix it all well .
  5. Spread with a spoon the tomato and garlic mix on top of the toasted bread.
  6. Sprinkle on top with Don Anecio Sea Salt or Don Amecio Fine Flake Salt to taste.

Traditional Preparation:

  1. Cut the bread in slices (not too thin) and toast it in the oven or a toaster.
  2. Rub the toasted bread with fresh garlic.
  3. Cut the vine-ripened juicy tomato in half and rub the toasted bread with fresh garlic.
  4. Drizzle the toasted bread with fresh garlic and rubbed tomato with Don Anecio Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
  5. Sprinkle on top with Don Anecio Sea Salt or Don Anecio Fine Flake Salt to taste.
